Attended Event ISPOR 2025

Braving the cold of the Canadian lands of the North, ScreamingBox CEO Dave Erickson recently traveled to Montreal Canada to attend the ISPOR 2025 Tradeshow - only to find a warm, almost Southern California like sunny climate. This year's ISPOR tradeshow offered a glimpse into the future of healthcare and focused on cutting edge medical data processing technology, data research, health outcomes and market access for Pharmaceutical, research and Medical device companies.

The second time in a row that we attended the show, ScreamingBox was there to see how the industry opportunities have evolved in the last year and to see how AI, Machine Learning and AR/VR development has developed.

The event gathers global healthcare leaders, economists, policymakers, and innovators to share insights and explore advancements in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).

In addition to the Expo area which had about 60+ booths, ISPOR hosts a major industry conference which is a hub of collaboration, featuring sessions on data analytics, cost-effectiveness analysis, and real-world evidence.

Keynote speakers provide visionary insights into the economic impact and effectiveness of healthcare interventions, emphasizing the potential to enhance holistic well-being. Attendees gain a comprehensive understanding of balancing affordability, access, and effectiveness in healthcare.

Last year, AI was on everyone’s mind, and in particular it was the question of how it can be utilized to move healthcare technology forward. This year, the question about AI was not how it can be applied, but how to economically execute the application ideas that had been developed in the last year.

We left this years show with stronger relationships with clients and potential clients and new opportunities and potentials. We look forward to seeing AI develop and help the healthcare industry provide for better and more economic healthcare patient outcomes.
